FEFC News, Events and Information


• Mark your calendar! November 10 at 6:30 p.m. for the Congregational Meeting. Please plan on being there.

• Musicians -- The worship team is looking for instrumentalists/singers (especially drummers). If you might be interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Josh Zabel for more information.

• ComJOYnus -- You are invited to our Thanksgiving Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Our meeting is at 10:30 a.m., then Fun-Fellowship and “Lunch”!! Turkey, stuffing, gravy, coffee, tea, and punch will be provided. We need: veggies, salads and desserts ! Each of us has had an “I remember, a Thanksgiving Dinner I’ll not forget”. We’d love to have you share with us. Please sign-up at the Communication Center.

• Every Thursday night at 6 p.m. Jerry and Ann Peters open up their home for anyone who is 20 something! Dinner is always served, followed by some type of activity, cards, watching a football game etc…just hanging out and talking with people your own age. Invite a friend!!

• The FAITH BOOKIES next book is Under the Overpass, A Journey of Faith on the Streets, by Mike Yankowski. . We look forward to meeting together. A date has not been set yet. Contact Lori Goff for more information.

• This week, November 4, the FOUR 12 Student Ministry will talk about Facebook Girls/Slander, What would you do? The CafĂ© opens at 5:45 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m. the activities begin. It’s the place to be on Wednesday nights!


Starting Thurs., Nov. 5, Life’s Healing Choices will be offered. This is a Rick Warren 9 week study on the Beatitudes. There is a workbook for the class. Please sign up at the Communication Center BY Oct. 25., if you are interested. Call Smokey Hoffer at 356-5508 for more information.

• DISTRICTS -- January 8 – 10, in Green Bay. The DEADLINE for registration is October 28, the cost is $110.00. See Pastor Jason if you have questions.

• S’MORES for FOUR 12 (Bible Study) will be meeting on Tuesdays at the Holmquist’s from 6:30 – 8:00p.m., until Nov. 9; after that they will be meeting at Pastor Jason’s home.

• We are looking for people to help with the collection of Angel Tree gifts and gifts for local families. Please contact Lori Goff if you can help.

• If you would like to share a story of what God is doing in your life or your personal testimony please contact Pastor Rick or call the church office. It is encouraging for others to hear what God is doing in and through your life.

• A support group to help women deal with divorce had their first meeting Oct. 14. They will meet every other Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Kathleen Roy’s home. If you have questions contact Kathleen at 358-7077.

• WOW (Women on Weights) is held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. This is a great time of fellowship and exercise with free weights and floor exercises. Any questions, call Sue Bruggink at 588- 3074.
